Call for papers and participation in the first international Conference on Entrepreneurship, GEM, 24th – 25th February 2010 – Tehran, Iran.
The Faculty of Entrepreneurship is delighted to announce the first GEM based International Conference on Entrepreneurship in Tehran, Iran. We welcome papers, articles and case studies on topics related to research, practice, and teaching in all subject areas of Entrepreneurship; and also invite all interested academics, researchers, advisors, policy-makers, students, educators and those who are interested in entrepreneurship to join us for the first GEM-based International Conference. The main purpose is to facilitate the exchange of entrepreneurial knowledge and ideas and to provide access to high-quality research findings.
All manuscripts will be double-blind reviewed and we will e-mail the results of the review process to the author(s). Accepted manuscripts will be scheduled for presentation at the conference and for publication in the GEM Proceedings on CD. Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, highly competitive papers will be considered for publication in the Journal of Global Entrepreneurship Research (JGER).
The GEM-based International Conference on Entrepreneurship, which will be held at The University of Tehran, is the first conference of its kind ever organized in the region. We welcome international delegations to share their latest scientific findings with us.
Professor Abbas Bazargan, acting as the team leader of GEM Iran, will be leading the course of events and chairing the conference. Please, submit your papers based on research findings, in English and/or in Persian, on any of the following key topics by 31st of October 2009.

Deadline for registration to attend the conference: September, 30th, 2009
