Power, Policy, Politic Behavior in an Organization and its Effect on Employees’ Performance |
Abstract:
Political behavior are those activities that are not required as part of a formal role in the organization, However they impose their leverage in distribution of benefits and short comings within organizations. In other words, political behavior are those activities which try to achieve the best for individual by using the power in which situation that uncertainty and disagreement about choices exist.In this context, there are different interpretations of the policies of the organization, But what is considered by many scholars in the field of organizational behavior is that political behavior is not only inherently adverse but it can also be useful for members of an organization. In this paper, the occurrence of areas of political behavior in organizations, nature of political behavior, political skills and tactics of political behavior will be examined. Then we turn to are view of studies and their results in the field of political behavior management such as " Assessment of the political behavior impact on employee performance", "Diplomacy of the staff political Savvy managers and resistance to change" , "The relationship between power and politics, organizational commitment and employee performance", " Strategic approach to the political tactics of the organization", "Political behavior of chief financial officers and companies financial performance indicators".
